@The_CAAdvantage @CoachPaulHarvey We hosted a legitimate tryout. Charged $0, gave the guys a drifit, talked about the realities of small college hoops. 4/17 guys will be on our campus this fall with an opportunity. How many places are doing that?

Joe Mazzulla on the importance of building a culture that doesn’t depend solely on the head coach.

“You don't want to be the sole person controlling the environment. You almost want it to run better when you're not around because that's a testament of the people.”

If your culture only works when you’re watching, then you've merely just created compliance.

The best environments are sustained by the people and shared ownership inside them.

@1frm_sanantonio I say this all the time and get absolutely crucified for it!

But I won’t stop saying it…

YOU ARE NOT WHO YOU LOOK UP TO!

You can’t model your game after them, your training after them, etc.

Why?

They’re in the less than 1% you’re not!

You can’t put in what God left out!
