Busy day for the South Carolina group. A stop at the White House and tours of the MLK, FDR and Jefferson memorials. All followed by a pizza party. Time for some rest.
Big things happening in Nashville. Emma Anderson, our South Carolina YLC rep., is in town for the co-op's annual national meeting. She's getting to meet lots of folks, including Mary Sheridan, a trustee at Black River Electric in Sumter.

Today, I talked with these amazing teens who are learning about electric co-ops and how they provide reliable and affordable electricity to many municipalities around South Carolina. With budding community leaders like these, South Carolina’s future is definitely bright!
