I toliko.
Poznajem ih bar stotinu i, pazi čuda, među njima nisam sreo nikoga ko podržava Putina.

Kosova.
Come on, Xhemajl, don't misinterpret things.
First, Dr. Srdanović is not a Students' List (SL) leader since it is a movement that have never had a leader - unlike SNS (Vučić) or LVV (Kurti) or almost any political party in the Balkans. Srdanović is only the first name on SL electoral list, and nothing more than that. He is not going to be Serbia's Prime minister. The most likely PM is Mr. Dejan Šoškić, who used to be Serbia's central bank governor in Tadić's time.
What is more important, the next Serbian government will certainly lead a pro-Europan policy. It aims to normalizing relations with all of its neighbors, which includes Croatia, BiH (as a whole), Montenegro and Kosovo.
Speaking of Kosovo, Srdanović said that Serbia will keep its obligation from Brussels agreements, that she will continue the dialogue and that the current constitution of Serbia would be the "platform" for further talks, which is completely normal as SL strives for legality first. It doesn't mean that Serbia is not going to recognize Kosovo. As you know, the Serbian constitution, written and adopted in Koštunica's time (2006), defines Kosovo as part of Serbia. Since it is unlikely to obtain 2/3 majority in the future parliament for annulling that provision, it will be necessary to find another way.
You could have noted that, unlike Vučić, this same Srdanović accepts the Srebrenica verdict (genocide), and he also says that he (like most people here) is deeply ashamed of what Vučić had been promoting and doing. He said so in an interview to Bosnian media. I am certain that his (and SL's) stance on Serb-inflicted atrocities in Kosovo is just the same.
And, finally, Dr. Srdanović couldn't commit to extraditing Radoičić to Kosovo. Don't forget that neither Srdanović nor SL are still not in power here. Committing to anything in such a role would be at least irresponsible. These people from SL who will take 141 seats in the Serbian parliament are serious and educated people who at this moment can't speak just what you would like to hear.
So, let them take their seats in parliament, form the government and then we can judge their deeds.
I fully understand your reservations. I am also uncomfortable with the fact that I saw ultranationalists at the student protests, but apparently they, too, were needed to bring about Vučić’s removal from power.
Sunday’s vote was, in effect, a referendum on Vučić. I believe that the people who will be taking over the government are reasonable and will not be carried away by the same dreams that Milošević and Vučić promoted and tried to turn into reality.
I sincerely hope that the Milošević era has finally come to an end with this. The students who persistently insisted that Vučić’s regime had to fall were all born after 2000. They do not see the world through the same eyes as you and I do. And, of course, among them there are left-wingers and right-wingers, pro-EU supporters and Russophiles alike.
I believe it is in our interest to maintain good relations with all our neighbours. That will take time, but I am convinced it is inevitable. The sooner, the better.
@thefreeDARDAN@Ilir_Deda Just to add: I think that the most important foreign policy objective of Serbia must be to normalize relations with its immediate neighbors (Croatia, Bosnia as a whole, Montenegro, Kosovo) which deteriorated significantly since 2012. Plus, normally, accession to EU.
Honestly, I don't know. The Students' list is a kind of motley crew, stretching from far left to far right, from those strongly pro-EU to those who still say "Ne damo Kosovo".
Yesterday's elections were in fact a referendum against Vučić and what he represents. It means that the primary task of the new government will be to establish the rule of law in the country, which is quite difficult to achieve. Having all that in mind, it is unlikely that Kosovo will be among its first priorities.
The most likely candidate for Serbia's new prime minister would be Dejan Šoškić, who used to be the central bank's governor in Boris Tadić's time. It seems to me that the government will be strongly pro-EU, which doesn't mean that Serbia would break relations with countries such as Russia and China.
It is also wise to have in mind that new generations of Serbs have been raised in nationalist spirit - it doesn't mean that they hate Albanians as they are more open to communication than generations who had lived through Milošević's time.
My honest hope is that the Milošević's era is now finally over and that the new government will seek understanding with Kosovo and Albanians in general.
It is also positive that Albanians from Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa will now have two representatives in the parliament. It is important that our Albanian compatriots are fairly represented.
We can't be foes forever and I honestly hope that we will come to a satisfactory agreement on our (Serbia and Kosovo) relations and improve them over time.
