@KeruboSk How did the dad drop a book on you and the son hit you flipping pages. Did they keep changing seats? And in seat A your left arm is against the fuselage. I call BS.
@WattMells@ogzillionaire@PeteNakos Perhaps. But the current injunction only says they have to allow him to play. Frankly I can’t understand why any real fan of the sport would be supportive of him being able to play. Every single pro league has this same act as one that bans the athlete.
@Troy_McClure4@ogzillionaire@PeteNakos Not suggesting that I agree with Chambliss’s case either but the “acts in question” (gambling vs playing year in JUCO) are vastly different IMHO.
@WattMells@ogzillionaire@PeteNakos The court order just say he has to play. Says nothing about there not being consequences for him playing. He can play all 10 games. The results of those games just won’t count for anything.
@WattMells@PeteNakos They are allowing him to play. Doesn’t mean there can’t be consequences. Sorsby is still getting “the coaching and ability to play that he so desperately needs”. Doesn’t mean that TT should be immune from consequences.
@Troy_McClure4@ogzillionaire@PeteNakos Very different circumstances between Sorsby and Chambliss. One committed acts considered completely off limits by every sporting league in the world.
@TimCowlishaw Because he could become compromised by gambling debts to the point the bookie gets him to do something to help them (throw a pick, throw a game, etc.)
@NancySchunke@PeteNakos Knowingly playing a guy that is now known to have gambled on his own teams games makes you a bad guy. Do better background work before you give millions of dollars out. And if it’s found that Cinci knew and played him figure out how to punish him.
