Our state’s development journey has received another significant boost with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India, approving 17 road projects worth ₹611.17 crore under the Central Road and Infrastructure Fund (CRIF) 2026–27 for Arunachal Pradesh.

My sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji for his visionary leadership and steadfast support for Arunachal Pradesh. Congratulations to Dr. Prem Taba, Assistant Professor at Arunachal Pradesh University, on being awarded the prestigious SAARC Research Grant 2026–27.

This is no ordinary recognition. Scholars from across South Asia competed for this grant, and Dr. Taba’s research stood out. It will bring global attention to the rich heritage of our tribal communities and explore how museums tell their stories.

During my meeting with the Inter-Ministerial Central Team (IMCT), led by Joint Secretary Ms. Nishtha Tiwari, I ensured these unheard voices were brought to the forefront of our flood assessment.

No part of Arunachal will be forgotten. We will ensure that every affected village, however remote, receives equal attention and support.
