Stars worked really hard today making and measuring dinosaur enclosures using standard units!,

Year 1 made the most of the snow and had lots of fun in Victoria Park! Great experiential learning making a snowman, snow angels and having a snowball fight! We also improved our fitness playing tag and stuck in the snow! @LansdownePS

Eventually rain stopped play at barrage island even though the brave pirates wanted to keep going. It didn't dampen our spirits and we enjoyed a yummy ice cream out of the rain!!

Year 1 had a fantastic time on their pirate adventure. Captain Morgan told us to keep an eye out for the giant octopus as we travelled on his boar to barrage island to find buried treasure.

The creativity continued in the afternoon at the park. Children made 3D pictures in the style of 'Art Attack' using a variety of everyday equipment.

Fabulous start to 'open your eyes' week! Year 1 were super creative and painted aboriginal art pictures.
