Our mission is the main piece of criteria we use to evaluate submissions during peer review. While there is a lot of great research out there, it is our responsibility as Spelman students to showcase papers that affect us directly.
If you submitted, look out for an email from us!
So what’s next for #HumaneEquations ? The conversation will be continued in a variety of forms! Perhaps a weekly discussion, perhaps a special issue of @SContinuum....stay tuned!
We are inspired by the #citeblackwomen movement! We want to be a part of the political praxis of citing Black women by helping contribute to the amount of women creating knowledge! Are you a Spelman alumna or student? Send your research today! @[email protected]
Many people know Zora Neale Hurston for her fictional novels, but Hurston was also a preeminent anthropologist researcher. She is often over looked due to her more literary and creative ways of crafting her work. We honor Zora by continuing the legacy of Black women’s research!
Did you write a great research paper for class that you’d like to show off? Maybe a summer research experience? Did you do an interesting photography project? Painting, poetry? We want to feature you and your intellectual glory in all its forms! Submit today! #citeblackwomen
