@goddyemma001 This film was strange, the guy killing the gods was the villain but they never really showed any “good gods” or why they were needed by their followers.
@f1trollofficial Revenge against the Spanish for the Battle of Cartagena de Indias I heard. Took a while but the Brits were waiting for the right time.

Why does #garyneville keep saying the only European team to win outside of Europe was Germany in Brazil 2014? Didn’t Spain win in South Africa 2010?

@ben_issen The rich of the gilded age built railroads, bridges, museums, universities and libraries. The rich today just hoard their wealth for their next yachts
@JBTEvans@bamabreak24 USA getting to host 3 times before England gets to host even twice 😭
Tbf, it’s very difficult to find any hosts now that they’ve decided to expand it to 48 teams.
I wonder if Infantino has done more damage than Blatter
@JBTEvans Oh yes, I forgot. Also aren’t they playing some games in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay for 2030 too?
Either they’ll scrap their previous rule or have it in North America again
@nocontextfm1 Cant be England or China as they need at least 2 World Cups before those confederations are allowed to host again. Spain/Portugal in 2030 and Saudi Arabia in 2034 rules them out.
Could probably be Australia/New Zealand if they’re up for it.
@PpollingNumbers Why do you think all these allegations being thrown out are largely being ignored by Maine voters?
He defeated a sitting governor, he got more primary votes than any other Maine Democratic senate candidate in history.
🚨 BOMBSHELL: Amnesty International drops a massive report confirming the Israeli government is actively funding and directing ethnic cleansing in the
West Bank.
They expose how the state uses soldiers as rogue settlers to systematically erase entire Palestinian villages.
MP Melanie Ward has discovered at least 32 UK ‘charities’ have sent £28 million to illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank in recent years.
She says their charitable tax status means they’ve likely received a taxpayer subsidy of at least £5 million:
Things the IDF would never but actually did:
- bomb a hospital
- rape a prisoner
- shoot at Israeli civilians
- kill a journalist
- execute first respondents
- double tap medics
- use human shields
- tie childrens’ toys to tanks
- bomb WCK
- shoot a 7 month in the head
New footage obtained by B’Tselem uncovers the moments when the Abu Haikal family was shot. Seven-month-old Sam Abu Haikal was killed in the shooting, and both his parents were injured. The footage clearly shows that the Israeli soldier fired at the car as it was slowing to a stop. The car was far from the soldiers and posed no danger to them whatsoever.
Moments later, in another video obtained by B’Tselem, seven-month-old Sam’s father, Fahed, is seen just after his son was shot. Fahed is holding baby Sam in his arms, trying to stop the bleeding from his head with his hands, while Sam’s mother, Daniyah, who was also injured by the gunfire while holding her son, is seen sitting on the ground, next to the car.
Last Friday, 5 June, an Israeli soldier fired at a Palestinian family driving home from a family visit, as they sat in their car in the Tel Rumeidah neighborhood in Hebron. The family was shot as the car was slowing to a stop at the soldier’s command. Sam, a seven‑month‑old baby who was in his mother’s arms in the back seat, was struck in the head and pronounced dead shortly afterward. Sam’s parents were also injured by the gunfire; his mother is still in the hospital. After the shooting, the soldier who fired and another soldier who was with him left the scene without checking the car or offering any assistance to the critically wounded baby or to his mother.
In the past two and a half years, Israel has killed tens of thousands of children in Gaza and the West Bank. The immunity it gets from the international community has led to a reality where, under Israeli rule, Palestinian lives are entirely disposable – even a seven‑month‑old baby.
