The hallways are quieter than normal today. While quiet, it is not nearly as nice as during our latest Family Read-In this past Friday when the building was packed with readers of all ages. Join us for the next Family Read-In on the morning of May 10th.
We are coming to a crescendo before Spring Break. Family Read-In and basketball jamborees last week. Swim meet, everyone welcome recess, cross-country signup, and intramural basketball final this week (Black Ballers vs. Purple Potatoes for the title, if you were wondering).
Some people have retirement parties. Others have retirement teas. Only Mrs. Lee has a retirement school wide fun run where the students don’t collect popsicle sticks to count laps, they write messages for Mrs. Lee on their sticks and hand them to her as they go by. #Legend
Next level sidewalk chalk art at our first Fun Day in more than 4 years! 🤯
Thanks to all the staff and parents who were able to join and make the day so great!
What a day! What a week! We had a great assembly in our newly painted gym, watched a great performance by Allegro dance, had a Family Read-In, a full school recess, hosted a kindergarten open house… and that was just yesterday and today. Really.

Feeling thankful again this morning for the work done by our staff and parents involved with our Greening Committee. Thanks for making a great place even better. 💚
Another wonderful Family Read-In organized by Ms. Windle. About 300 family members joined us this morning. We loved all the literary character costumes.
