A great event at the Faversham Hop Festival, meeting up with my relation the Mayor of Faversham Josh Rowlands - well worth a visit to the event. On tomorrow too.

Last Friday in my role as the Vice Chairman of Sevenoaks District Council I was delighted to officially open a new piece of art work “the ripple sculpture” it is a new artwork at Lullingstone Country Park

It’s made from a 150-year-old oak tree that had fallen in the park

Today I attended the @SDC_Chairman Cllr Avril Hunter's civic service, the service was held at St Mary's Kippington, Sevenoaks and attended by civic dignitaries from across Kent.

The readings, address and hymns all spoke to the nature and importance of service

Amazing number of people @StagSevenoaks for this information event hosted by Sevenoaks Welcomes Refugees supported by Sevenoaks District Council. Great to see so many local people are eager to help Ukrainians fleeing the war.

Great fun for all at Bat and Ball for Sevenoaks District Easter Fun Day. Dancing, craft work, Bouncy Castle and archery amongst the many activities for the children.

Delighted to plant a tree for the Queen’s Green Canopy in Edenbridge with Cllr McArthur. Hopefully the first of many across the District.
