San Diego has an extreme heat warning through the weekend. Follow these tips to keep pets safe:
✅Provide plenty of cool, clean water. 
✅Keep pets cool indoors as much as possible.
✅Only walk in the early morning or late evening.
❌Never leave your pet in a parked vehicle.

These intakes come as San Diego Humane Society continues to experience unprecedented dog populations, with 792 canines in care. Right now, San Diego Humane Society is caring for 1,950 animals. Of those, 874 are available for adoption.
