The year is coming to a close so quickly but the NJHS is still busy! 7th graders filled out their applications to hold officer positions next school year while 8th graders welcomed the officers from the SDHS National Honors Society to share their high school expirences and tips.
First meeting with our newest members! 7th graders got the rundown of what their 8th grade year will entail while 8th graders learned about what to expect as they transition into high school.
We had a fantastic induction ceremony last night. There were wonderful speakers, well dressed students, and so many beautiful smiles. Congratulations inductees! Welcome to the National Junior Honors Society!
SDMS NJHS students helped the community by volunteering at the Maryland Food Bank. It was great to see how much food we packaged and to imagine all the people who would benefit from our hard work! Fun time had by all!
