@SchlossmanGF I expect that this is NCAAs counter move to CHL eligibility. This opens an avenue for some younger players to go NCAA immediately, others to play junior hockey and then go the USports route in Canada. The longer NCAA development track would now become the advantage of USports.

We had a great time taking a last minute family trip to Boston to catch the Jays and Red Sox double header. Unfortunately my wife wasn’t able to join us for this one and one of my boys had to work but the other 5 of us had fun and the Jays picked up 2 wins!!!

I had the opportunity numerous times over the years to sit and talk with Mr. Andrews. He made such a positive impact on the lives of my children and this is not only a tremendous loss to the hockey community but it’s the loss of a good man who valued integrity and kindness.

For all the kids out there that have a dream of playing high level hockey, it's not about how bad you want it. It's about what are you willing to do to get it.

There's a really big difference between dreams and goals.

Dreams are easy.

What's a lot harder is to set goals and create accountability structures to make sure that you're doing the little things every day to get that little bit better.

I'd rather have a kid that does 100 push ups before bed every night than a kid that has the best skating coach in the world.

High level coaches are looking to find kids with internal motivation...that love it and are willing to put in the work to get better every day.

It's not about how bad you want it. It's about what you are willing to do, consistently, to get it.

Some feel Bilic could currently be the top goalie playing prep this season. Backstopping powerhouse Cushing Academy comes with a lot of success and a lot of questions of how his game will translate to the next level. Bilic is certainly one to debate and keep an eye on. @FCHockey
