Members of the Jackrabbit Agriculture Technology and Engineering Club traveled to the Omaha area for industry tours. The club students were able to visit six companies to learn about different sectors of the agriculture and engineering industries.
JATEC welcomed several South Dakota State University alumni this semester to share their experiences in agriculture, leadership, and innovation. Thanks to Brad Meyer, Sam Meyer, Carson Kahler, and Andrew Mairose for speaking with our students!
30 Agricultural Systems Technology & Precision Agriculture students attended an ag industry event in Huron, SD with Agtegra Cooperative. Students explored livestock handling, planter demos, AI in agriculture, agronomy plots, and careers. Thank you, Agtegra!
Six SDSU Fluid Power Club & Vehicle Challenge students toured Danfoss Power Solutions, Nott Company, and SunSource to explore hydraulic labs, manufacturing, and real-world fluid power systems while learning about career pathways.
50 Agricultural & Biosystems Engineering, Agricultural Systems Technology, and Precision Ag students traveled to San Antonio for Commodity Classic 2026.
They attended educational sessions, explored cutting-edge precision ag technology, and connected with industry leaders.πΎπ
