We are removing barriers to enrollment for pre-school, elementary, middle and high schools by offering online enrollment. Starting June 8th, we will also open 52 Enrollment Hubs across the city to help any family who needs assistance with online enrollment.
“As the Governor and Legislature negotiate the final State Budget, we will continue to advocate to protect the meaningful investments that are being considered, and most of all, to fully fund Proposition 98,” said Superintendent Fabi Bagula, Ph.D.
We remain deeply concerned with Governor Gavin Newsom’s response to the needs of school districts with his May Budget Revise. It does not fully fund Proposition 98. The May Revise would continue to withhold $3.9 billion from California’s students.
