@England_Pod Positives- we didn’t lose and Rashford + Nico were bright off bench.
Negatives - CB’s specifically Guehi so slow in build up. Left side didn’t work despite Spence having moments. Chances to cross the ball with bodies in box turned down too often. Gordon had poor day, too timid.
@NewsAtDen Think this is the perfect time for him to go for both parties. Billy deserves a good 3+ year deal with a championship club on starting money. Millwall have Derek and Casper likely as first choice next year, plus when adding Billy's injuries, shouldn't commit that contract to him
@louorns Amazing the last 6 months after a slow start. Able to play 8, LW, RW, 10 and filled in at full back. Technically quality and starting to add end product. If we dont go up and Femi goes in the summer, Neghli will be the main man next year and I think thrive doing that.
@Mitch67958857 You wanted him out the team last year, now realised how important he is seeing Tango struggle elsewhere. You'll also see the same with Crama. He's not been at his best the last month but ignoring how great he was for the previous 14 months is so reactionary and over the top.
@Gusdabearzfan@BillTZimmerman@adamjahns @Jayfields01 @gaross18@KareemRon33 But the cash spending on OTC has the Bears in the bottom half 60+ million behind the Broncos for example who have probably the richest owner in the league. They were also 29th last year in cash % over cap according to the Athletic.
@Da_Logical_Bear@adamjahns@CHGO_Sports Also on the money created point. PFF (so take with a pinch of salt) project Jaelen Phillips 1 year 15m. Brian Cook S 12m AAV , khalil Mack 1 year 14M, Kam Curl 9m AAV. We are going to need to add a lot defensively this offseason and this money can help with it a lot.
@Da_Logical_Bear@adamjahns@CHGO_Sports Not many contracts id want to touch to create space. For example the numbers you see floating around about potential space would include Dayo, Jarrett, Edward’s etc who you can’t push money for. Good player I agree- not paying 28m for my 4th target. No one sensible does that.
@adamjahns A lot of that involves contracts that the Bears shouldn't touch as they will be deals they want out of next year. If they want to transform defensively like they managed with the O-Line last year, trading DJ (4th on the team in Yards/game) makes a lot of sense.
@philclarke0170 No Millwall player reacted to check on him really or put any pressure on the ref. Compare that to the entire Pompey team sprinting to demand a red for the Bryan challenge, not a good look for us.
@MillwallFC Neil has got that all wrong. We have no clue how to press. We have langstaff in this LW position and means we have nobody in the middle. Aimless hoofs to the Serb who has no one within 20 yards of him. Like Neil but he’s been so badly out coached
