SEAC mourns the loss of a young fieldworker in Louisiana, Kaylen Eileen Gehrke. Ms. Gehrke was just beginning her career in archaeology and her loss is deeply felt. We wish to express our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.

From Sexual Harassment and Assault Reduction and Prevention (SHARP): Committee: The first workshop, Wednesday, April 20th from 10:00 – 11:30 am EST is designed for students who will be taking on a supervisory role during the summer field school season.
The second workshop, April 27th from 10:00 – 11:30 am EST is for directors. For this workshop, they will discuss how to structure their projects to help students feel comfortable reporting instances of sexual harassment & to support students through a report & investigation.
