#SupportBlackBusiness - From Ox Tails to Brisket to Burnt Ends and Ribs, Lil Red's Catering & Takeout has barbecue staples as well as Jamaican food and Soul food. Owner Erasto "Red" Jackson said he’s proud to bring delicious food to the community, providing an outlet for barbecue and soul food lovers in South Seattle and beyond.
“I cook everything with love. I want to make sure everything tastes a certain way,” Jackson said.
The restaurant, which Jackson describes as “that little hole in the wall spot with the great food,” also has a strong commitment to supporting the community. Jackson says he’s proud to offer plates of food to homeless individuals, helping to feed the community.
“Who am I to have a restaurant and say that I can’t feed you? People know that they can come in here and get a free plate of food. That’s one thing that we’re really proud of doing here.”
The restaurant is named after his wife, Lelieth, who Jackson calls Lil.
“Being that we’re a family business in the community, it’s important for me to be the family man in the community working and serving the community,” Jackson said.

The restaurant is located at 4225 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118
