hussein chalayan’s first theatrical piece “gravity fatigue” (2015)
the performance takes inspiration from themes of identity and displacement, and “the disconnection experienced in public spaces at moments of transition”
2023 will be all about doing more things that make me happy. more pilates, good food, fruit and veg daily, 3 litres of water per day, more walking, investing in wardrobe staples, spending time with good friends, more reading and more saying no to things that do not bring me joy
i do not want to be merely tolerated or accepted. what miserably low standards. i want to be celebrated. i wanted to be asked serious questions. i want to be asked about my dreams and desires, my sorrows and my favorite trees. i want to be wanted. actively. abundantly. today.
but not gonna lie and disregard how it's actually awesome to be able to connect to people you thought u wont be able to connect with and be part of a nice on the internet and express parts of u. and i love the internet, but it's not the reality..
seeing how digitalized we've become makes me sad especially when meeting new people organically becomes harder.. in the aspect of romance it's even harder because despite (maybe) seeing cool people, most are actually emotionally unavailable anyway and are looking for validation
nothing boils my blood faster than people who lack research skills.. im actually not asking for a lot, but there are people who cant bother to search a single basic question online before outwardly displaying their ignorance and its so annoying
