@DurhamCricket England try develop first class players into test players whilst playing test cricket and most of the time it fails miserably. Too much dilution in the player pool in England. Make it difficult to become a first class player, reduce the amount of first class teams ffs
@DurhamCricket 6 first class teams in Australia, 18 (I think) in England. I know England has a higher population but you have to be a much better player to play first class in Australia than you do in England. Australia pick players who are test ready due to how strong their comp is.
@JaseScott23@lightsupleclerc Not sure that’s the case, it’s more that hawks have had a meltdown because Hinkley retaliated… losing doesn’t exempt you from retaliation, so we accept both is okay or both isn’t.. cant let “Jack be Jack” and then expect protection after a loss.. fair game IMO
Sam Mitchell reminds me of one of those pathetic parents that wont discipline their bratty kid, then cry foul when another parent actually ticks the kid off. Then it's not the poor little angels fault ever. Only difference is Mitchell's brat is a grown 21yo man with 8yo mentality
@Rafathegaffa1@PeteGravesTV Hate the fact that our fans are so critical of current players (who I agree should be moved on eventually) that actually were the reason we finished 4th! And 7th with half our first XI injured most of the season! Miggy two seasons ago scored some of the best goals I’ve ever seen
@Rafathegaffa1@PeteGravesTV Yeah but what I mean is if we now start spending just because we can, that’ll affect us in future windows. Just because we bid 65m on someone Howe thought was right for us, doesn’t mean we should use that to buy someone else as a panic buy.. if we have to wait that’s fine by me
