BREAKING: State Dept announces massive crackdown on birth tourism schemes for foreigners to get citizenship

- A birth tourism network in West Africa has been dismantled. 100 foreign nationals used fraudulent documents to get visas to give birth in the U.S. Their visas have all been revoked

- In Europe they identified more than 400 birth tourism cases since 2024. State Dept shut it down, revoked their visas, and permanently banned several fraudsters from traveling to the U.S.

- U.S. embassy in North Africa revoked over 100 visas for parents who came to the U.S. to give birth so their children would get U.S. citizenship.

Under President Trump, the State Department is defending the integrity of U.S. citizenship by ending illegal birth tourism schemes.

No foreigner is permitted to obtain a visitor visa for the primary purpose of acquiring U.S. citizenship for a child by giving birth in the U.S.

This is why Congress needs to pass @RepEliCrane’s End H-1B Visa Abuse Act (HR 8443). It would end OPT, require foreign students to leave the US immediately after graduation, and subject all H-1B employers to Trump’s $100K fee, among other things.

- One immigration attorney has allegedly singed off on 1.1 million H-1B visa applications
- That is 2,037 H-1B visas that he signs off on every single day

But this is part of a much larger problem

The demographic shift because of mass Visa approvals across all visa types

Texas has historically been seeing 25,000+ new H-1B approvals per year and it’s increasing

They’ve been seeing over 35,000 agricultural H-2B visas

They’re also a top destination for visitor visas and we know people come and don’t leave

Official data even shows Texas has over 800,000 new foreign born residents just in the past 4 years, and this doesn’t count what’s being talked about above

A jury convicted Karmelo Anthony of murder for stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf to death. Evidence was presented. Witnesses testified. Self-defense was rejected. He got 35 years.
That’s not a “legal lynching.” That’s justice.

Crying racism because the killer is Black and the victim was White doesn’t change the facts: actions have consequences.
Austin is dead. His family grieves. The system worked.
