Packed house at our 2025 annual Fall Strategy Session in York, Maine with the leading experts in the H-2B industry.
@PingreeForME joined us via Zoom and @SenatorCollins joined us at the Red Sox Yankees game. They are both incredible champions of Maine’s seasonal employers.

While you are in El Salvador, you should take the time to visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to learn more about their efforts to increase H-2B program participation in El Salvador. It has been a remarkable success with a 700% growth in H-2B visa issuances from 2021 to today.
I just landed in San Salvador a little while ago, and I look forward to meeting with the team at the U.S. embassy to discuss the release of Mr. Abrego Garcia.
I also hope to meet with Salvadoran officials and with Kilmar himself. He was illegally abducted and needs to come home.
Trump is making the case for the expansion of the H-2A and H-2B programs. He is saying the illegal workers can return to their home countries then come back under a strict, legal process. This is H-2B!
What is going on with the second half H-2B cap announcement? It has been ten days since the last petition was receipted. At first, DHS said the cap had not been met but now acknowledges it has been met. Contact WH and DHS leg affairs to request status update on the H-2B cap!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Labor Forum in Las Vegas. It was our best turnout yet. Thank you to @StephenMoore for being our headline guest. Good meeting but lots to do! Our next event is a fundraiser for SEPAC on March 13th at Mar-a-Lago!

This is a major difference between the H1B and H2B programs. H2B workers are paid the Level 3 wage which is the average wage for the occupation. H2B workers do not undercut the labor market - in fact - since most of the jobs are entry level jobs, they raise wages for U.S. workers
@MsFab123@JackPosobiec Please refer to Department of Labor website below to see the up to date wages for 2025. These wages are offered to both US and foreign workers for the entirety of the work season.

@MithaEXP @JackPosobiec H-2B is a non skilled visa which may fill positions such as tree planters or landscapers. Employers utilizing the program are required to hire any willing and able US worker that applies for the job prior to applying for a foreign workforce.
@GorlOrthodox @JackPosobiec They can possibly obtain a driver’s license but still must be able to pass a test before issued a driver’s license.A social security card does not guarantee they will ever receive social security. It guarantees they will pay it.
@NickJFuentes I believe the president is referring to H-2B visas. These visas are utilized in positions such as landscaping on golf courses or hospitality at resorts across the country. The workers come into the country through a rigorous process and return home regularly.
@TonyXu31@JackPosobiec H-2B is an unskilled visa utilized for temporary positions such as tree planters, hospitality, and landscaping. They come into the country for up to 10 months at a time then return home in hopes to return for the next season.
@GorlOrthodox @JackPosobiec While H-2B workers are required to pay into social security. In most cases, they return home to their country where they will not receive the social security they have been paying into.
