#SaintJoseph cared for the family that the Lord entrusted to him. Guardianship means being attentive to others, respecting their choices, and caring for them. St. Joseph shows us that presence and guardianship are inseparable dimensions: we can only care for others by being present, and we are only present when we assume responsibility for the other.
Gospel of the Day (Matthew 1,16.18-21.24a)
Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Of her was born Jesus who is called the Christ.
Now this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found with child through the holy Spirit.
Joseph her husband, since he was a righteous man, yet unwilling to expose her to shame, decided to divorce her quietly.
Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her.
She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home.

Hosanna to the Son of David. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord - (Mt 21:9)
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Join us for the AMDA Mass on Palm Sunday 29th March 2026 at Kitante Primary School. The mass will be animated by the AMDA Marrieds Council.
In the sacred season of Lent, as Holy Mother Church draws us into the mystery of our salvation, you are prayerfully invited to the solemn celebration of Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord.
On this holy day, the Church commemorates the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where He freely embraced His Passion for our redemption. Bearing blessed palms, we enter into the sacred liturgy, uniting ourselves with Christ, who humbles Himself in obedience unto death, even death on a Cross (cf. Phil 2:8).
Let us therefore gather as one Body in Christ to: Proclaim the Kingship of Christ with joyful procession; meditate deeply on the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ; prepare our hearts worthily for the Sacred Triduum.
Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.

The release of the results for the second cohort of candidates- proficient health workers equipped with skilled hands and compassionate hearts, assessed by the Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board- comes at a time when the TVET Act, 2025 has just come into force.
Eat whatever you want for Lent.
1. They refrain from eating meat, but don't talk to their relatives,
2. Don't visit their parents or bother to attend to them.
3. They don't share food with the needy,
4. They forbid children to see their father,
5. Criticize other people's lives etc..
A good barbeque or beef stew won't make you a bad person, just like a fish fillet won't turn you into a saint.
Better seek to have a deeper relationship with God through better treatment of others.
The sacrifice is not in the stomach, but in the heart.📌
I encourage Ugandans of goodwill to attend this Holy Mass organised by Dr. Kizza Besigye's family at Lubaga Cathedral tomorrow, to pray for him and other prisoners of conscience. Dr. Besigye remains under unjustified detention for over a year now - prevented from accessing medical care of his choice despite his deteriorating health. May God hear the collective prayers of the people of Uganda for freedom.

I was pleased to meet His Eminence Emmanuel Wamala and commend him for his contribution to faith and social transformation in Uganda. We agreed that government will support his family foundation’s Kamagwa Hospital, while it remains a private facility, and that the Ministry of Tourism will support the establishment of a museum to preserve his legacy. At his request, I accepted to serve as Patron of the project. I wish him good health and God’s blessings as he marks 99 years.
