G’day from Melbourne, Australia.
I’m an Aussie obsessed with SEC football culture, traditions, rivalries, stadiums, campuses, college towns, and the pageantry of Southern Saturdays.
SEC Down under is my attempt to understand and share the SEC from the other side of the world.
United States really should’ve put all of the knockout round games in SEC towns.
“Oh you wanna beat America in the round of sixteen? Great. You’ll do it in Tuscaloosa.”
@PitchToJohnny How perfect everything looks on the TV when I flick on an SEC Matchup in October. The campus, the crowd, the tailgating. How do you not fall in love with that?
Finding accomodation in these college towns is such a challenge.
Just an Aussie here trying to find somewhere in Knoxville on the Third Saturday in October.
@__whatley__ I thought it was just Football that was incredibly cinematic and picturesque in the South. How is EVERY SEC sport so beautifully depicted, looks straight out of a movie every time! Omaha 🫡
