To all the @KentuckyMBB fans crying in our DMs, please realize we actually called more fouls against @GamecockMBB than we did against you. Calls made by our officials wouldn’t have mattered if you hadn’t gotten out-rebounded, turned the ball over 15 times and blew a 14pt lead.
BREAKING: In light of the COVID-19 case spike, and the potential for a 2nd wave, we will not be allowing our members to officiate any events this fall until there is an agreement that forces all coaches/players to wear masks and properly social distance during games. Thank you.
Thanks, Josh!
We agree that more discipline is required from the players during these games. Luckily we have an experienced group of officials who can call-out these mistakes as they happen and aren’t afraid to enforce the rules.
Thanks again!

Glad to see our officials in Knoxville putting in their due diligence after our employee-wide email was sent out earlier. It is always good to consider, and act on, feedback from our fans. Thank you all!

We respectfully request that our fans treat us with the same class and integrity that we treat the game of basketball. Our officials work tirelessly to ensure that the players and fans can both enjoy the game. There should be no room for insults on this platform. #RespectTheGame

Many of our fans are inquiring about this particular call. We want to provide clarity, but we are unsure how much clearer it could be. The player for @OleMissMBB viciously throws down the player for @KentuckyMBB and it is obvious in any camera view that one may choose to view.

Thank you, Jim. We look forward to the opportunity to bring our officiating talents to the Southern Conference. We take pride in being known as the nation’s premier officiating crew due to our immutable professionalism and our precise accuracy in making the correct calls.
After further review, our crew and the @SEC have collaboratively determined that the contact initiated by @RickBarnesUT, though unnecessary, was an emotional mistake committed in the heat of the moment. We will seek no further punishment or subsequent remediation at this time.

We are introducing a new statistic titled Free Throw Attempt Differential (FTAd). It is calculated by subtracting the Opponent’s FTAs from the Team’s FTAs in a single game. A positive number means more FTs were attempted by the team than the opponent in “x” amount of games. (1/2)
