We are heartbroken by the news of violence taking place in Israel. We mourn for all those whose lives were lost, pray for everyone who has been injured, and stand in solidarity with those who remain under attack.

Today is Lag BaOmer—usually a day of rejoicing. Instead, we find ourselves deeply saddened by the tragedy that occurred in Israel at the tomb of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai. Our hearts are with the families who lost loved ones and we send our prayers to all those who were injured.
