Help TAs be involved in your SHAPE CODING TM sessions and see whether they can put them in order. If not it's a good opportunity for any children you're working with to help them and show them how to.

Remember to always show children how to use words in sentences as well as their meaning when teaching vocabulary:

When starting teach children about the present progressive and the simple past, not the progressive past because this is a more complex sentence structure so the progressive past structure comes later

More than one word can go in each shape it's not a 1:1 correspondence, otherwise you get stuck on a basic sentence level

Colours are not the most important part of the SHAPE CODING TM system

Happy National BSL Day! 🎉 Today we celebrate the recognition of BSL as a UK indigenous language. Thanks to the Deaf community, the BSL Act was passed on this day in 2022, marking a significant step towards equality.
