Many, many thanks to @NPRCoryTurner and @MorningEdition for sharing my little passion project with the world. Proud to be sharing space with others who inspire. This is so incredibly surreal . . . 🥰
Thanks @edutopia for the opportunity to be a guest blogger. How we use calming spaces in the classroom makes a BIG difference in how they are perceived by our students & whether or not they able to access tools and exercises when they are really needed!

As a school counselor, I couldn't do what I do without the support of my school family. I am surrounded by people who value my role, support and extend what I teach, and care about the kids we share. Together we move mountains. Every. Single. Day! #bettertogether#ASCA22
@GiftedTawk We time a variety of stacking challenges (3-3-3, 3-6-3, 6-6) as kids learn the basics of stacking. They practice without the mat as much as they want, then get in line for timing. We keep track of times for each event, then have a Leaderboard with the 5 fastest times for each.
