Many thanks to our funder's @PostcodeLottery for supporting our cause to help improve wellbeing and social connection through sporting activies. Our Men's Group took up swimming lessons and yesterday played padel. The Women are at the gym, lifting weights, heavy ones at that!

We had an absolutely fantastic night at the BDA event on Saturday night. Wonderful night of awards and celebrations. And we are very proud to have been recognised for the amazing work we do here SEMDC.

A review of the the last few months activities at our Men's Group @GlasgowCVS funded programme.
We ventured into new territories, learning archery, racing cars and set up a football team.
Our final workshop 'Domestic Abuse Awareness' - was hugely impactful for all the men!
We will explore the impact of domestic violence on children in deaf families as co-victims & language brokers. We will be working with @luccl81 & Tasnim Ahmed from @SEMDC1 & partnering with @ddeaflinks & @PoliceScotland on this 1-yr project starting Jan 2025
So excited about our upcoming women's group!
Funded by the Volant Trust, we will be supporting women to learn new skills, gain access to women's health topics, and a safe space to communicate!
