There are some 8,800 paramedics serving Ontario's communities through the #COVID19 crisis, taking precautions to protect patients, themselves and the public while responding on scene. Do your part and please stay home. It saves lives. #StayHome
Whether you are at home with your immediate family, in contact via phone or video, or helping keep our province safe, I’d like to wish you a happy Easter Saskatchewan.

PARAMEDIC FRIENDS:

UPDATE: Our thoughts & deepest condolences are w/ all individuals, families & communities involved & affected by the tragic accident on Oct 25, near Beauval. Mental health supports are being made available to the local communities thru SHA’s mental health services. (1 of 2)
I agree with @DrDavidNLong "...paramedics are important stakeholders in the delivery of community-based palliative care and have been a notable omission in health service policy and planning." https://t.co/Ew6cVlGX9L
PSCS extends our condolences to the family of the Meadow Lake EMS paramedic who lost his life in the line of duty while responding to a call in Beauval last night. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved with this terrible tragedy. We are all there for you! #skparamedics
Yesterday #YorktonRCMP were dispatched to assist EMS with an unconscious female in cardiac arrest. Upon arrival a bystander had started CPR & despite being exhausting he continued until EMS took over.

We’re happy to announce that upon arrival at the hospital she was alert, conscious & expected to make a full recovery. We salute that bystander who stepped up to help! (2/2)
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Bombardier Patrick Labrie who has died from injuries sustained during a training exercise in Bulgaria. We’re thinking of everybody at CFB Petawawa during this difficult time.
A non-donut related lesson from @JC_Climbs...we have control over our concept of success. We often focus on traditional wins in paramedicine: cardiac arrest saves, etc. We can equally define success as improving someone’s day, empowering a patient with education, being kind.
Congratulations to @HPS_Paramedics Social Navigator Program! Recognized by @ParamedicChiefs award of excellence. Improving access to care for vulnerable patients. #pccsumm
