Minna is witnessing development on a scale never seen before.
The ongoing Mobil Roundabout Overhead Bridge, that’s over 700m long, is one of the longest in the middle belt.
Great leaders do not build for today alone, they build with tomorrow in mind.
Well done, Governor Bago.

“The security challenges we have in Kwara is artificial. Whenever elections are coming around, you’ll see these kind of problems to call the dog a bad name, just to hang it.” - Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Kwara APC chairman on TVC

Niger State Ranks 4th Best-Governed in Nigeria
Minna | 5th June 2026
The 2025 CIAPS Governance Performance Index (CGPI) has ranked Niger State 4th in Nigeria with a score of 65.1%, behind only Kaduna, Delta, and Anambra.
The ranking validates the transformative leadership of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago. Key achievements include:
•Infrastructure: Over 1,200 km of roads under construction, six flyovers, and major urban renewal projects.
•Healthcare: Recruitment of 2,000+ health workers, 20 completed Primary Healthcare Centres (54 more ongoing), and upgraded IBB Specialist Hospital offering advanced surgeries.
•Education: Significant investments in schools and learning facilities.
•Agriculture: Approved Special Agro-Processing Zone (SAPZ) and $29.62 million AfDB support; distribution of tractors and inputs across all 25 LGAs.
•Employment & Welfare: Over 10,000 graduates employed, ₦7 billion paid as gratuities, and 100,000+ jobs created through urban renewal.
•Connectivity: Remodelling of Minna International Airport with resumed commercial and Hajj flights.
The CIAPS recognition highlights Governor Bago’s focus on infrastructure, human capital development, investment attraction, and inclusive growth.

Speaking on alleged 3rd term ambition, “are they saying Danladi is not a Kwaran? Did they say he’s contesting guber the 3rd term? If any other person had emerged, they’ll find something else to say. Everyone pray to grow in politics” - Prince Sunday Fagbemi, Kwara state APC Chair
The mapping tells us Nollywood is the second-largest film industry in the world by volume. Not in Africa — in the world. I read that and ask one question: what does the infrastructure of a second-largest film industry look like? Because that is the question we are now answering. The talent proved itself a long time ago. The mandate is ours.
