We are delighted to announce the results of our recent elections. The SERC SU has successfully elected our new Student Governor and two new campus presidents for the 2024/25 Academic Year.
Congratulations to our three new elected officers and thank you to everyone who nominated themselves and all the SERC Students who voted in the elections.
As part of Student Voice Month the SU are delighted to announce the date for the SERC SU Conference. The event will take place on Thursday the 2 of May, at Bangor campus and will be streamed online. We look forward to bringing all of our elected volunteers together to celebrate
In the first half, there will be a meeting on SERC SU policies with 3 items being brought to the meeting to be voted on. The second half of the meeting, there will be an awards ceremony to recognise the hard work put in by all our volunteers this year.

The SU is excited to announce that April will be Student Voice Month in SERC. This month, we will be highting and celebrating the student voice in the college, as well as giving students the opportunity to take part in the Student Voice.

Monday the 4th of March - Downpatrick, Reception 12-2pm.
Tuesday the 5th of March - Lisburn, Reception , 12-2pm.
Wednesday the 6th of March - Bangor, Outside of the canteen , 12-2pm.
Thursday the 7th of March - Newtownards, Reception , 12-2pm.

Next week is Sexual Health Week in SERC. The aim of this week is to remind students the importance of looking after their sexual health by making them aware of the services available to them.
We will be running a number of sexual health stalls across the four main campuses as part of Sexual health week on the 19th to the 22nd of February. This will include stalls from our external partners like womenβs aid, positive life and YHAS.
