Skill & Rookie mistake. Making up via the Cinema is just nonsensical.
At that junction, you should just focus on conversations to ease the tension.
You’ve to be a good conservationist tho. You should be thinking how do I psychologically move this lady to want to see me again.
We were supposed to meet by 3pm. I got to the restaurant a few minutes early… and then I waited. For two whole hours.
He kept calling, apologizing, saying he was stuck in traffic and all that. At that point I was already fuming. Then he finally shows up around 5pm and says he had to quickly drop his mum off somewhere.
I told him straight up how annoyed I was. He said that’s why he kept calling and texting, because he didn’t want me to leave. I didn’t even argue again, I just went along with the date.
Then he says he knows he’s wasted a lot of time and wants to make it up to me by going to see a movie. I agreed.
We get to the cinema and this man just starts acting weird. Rubbing my arms, asking if I’m cold… I said I’m fine. Then he starts whispering in my ears. I couldn’t even focus on the movie anymore. I had to tell him to stop talking and just watch the movie.
After the movie, as we’re walking to the parking lot, he asks if I’m going home. It’s already past 9pm. I said yes, I’m tired. Then he goes, “the night is still young.”
Next thing, he suggests I sleep over.
I said, “sleep over where?”
He said there’s a hotel nearby and we could just spend the night.
I told him clearly, “I’m not spending the night with you. I want to go home.”
When we got to his car, he tried again to convince me. I stood my ground and said NO. At that point, I didn’t even trust him enough to enter his car. I booked my ride and told him not to bother dropping me off.
My ride came, I left him there… and blocked him immediately I got in.
