Are you a fan of UK Hip Hop from 80s to 20s? Would you like to chop it up with some artists from the era? Can you get to Central London on the evening of Monday 27th July? Join me for a conversation on the history of UK Hip Hop. I've been doing my research and I have some questions... #UKHipHop #BBQT #BlackBritishMusic #HipHip #BritHop https://t.co/yWCLlb2ehn
🚨 ATTENTION!
I have cancelled my Black British Question Time event because of the England match.
Even though it is on late. The streets will be a bit chaotic and probably quite inebriated. Transport will be overwhelmed.
Plus I did a rave that got caught up in the Euros quarter finals and it was dead. We must learn our lessons.
We will reschedule another date after the World Cup
I've already issued refunds to everyone that bought a ticket. You shall be VIPs when we put the event on. Thank you for being real ones.
We are all still looking forward to chopping it up for UK Hip Hop however I get to do a bit more research and so do you.

‘When it’s just Black women worse affected, we simply don’t count. Black mothers are not seen as mothers. If we were, a watershed moment would have already happened.’

This event on Monday 6th July is so we can chop it up about UK Hip Hop. Please share with anyone you think will enjoy this. All are welcome.
The panel is a nice representation of people who can speak to the past, present, and future of UK Hip Hop. From scenes to sounds with
@BlakTwang@hkbfinn@Isattasheriff@Goldielocs16 and Ree Sewell

Today is World Sickle Cell Day & I’m reminded of 16yo Rebecca who received a bone marrow transplant from her sister Sayo to cure her of sickle cell. Their story captures exactly why people with sickle cell are true warriors & the importance of advocacy 💪🏾 https://t.co/2XflomowMo

A deaf black man is opening a coffee and arts shop in south London, SE18 3TB, grand opening is 13 June. All coffee and pastries are £1 for the day, go support.
TL is full of stories where white ppl have attacked & in some cases killed poc to demonstrate the actual two tier society we have lived in for decades. Fatoumata Hydara & her babies were burned to death. Their killer Jamie Barrow's sentence was reduced

The Sun would have called him the “Sword lad” and People like Richie would have told us “But the perpetrator wasn’t White British, he was Spanish”
And the Metro would have used a picture of the killer wearing his medals.
Leave Black people out of this tragedy, please 🙏🏾.
OK, I'm a doer.
So I have just sent out invites to the first three people that I would like to be on Black Question Time and I'm looking for a connect for the fourth. It's going to be in July on 'UK Hip Hop and Rap - Past, Present, and Future.' The first venue will 100% be in South East or Central London but just like the Babylon Broadcasting Corporation's Question Time we are going to travel up and down the country.
No London centric nonsense here!
For now I am going to run the mailing list out of my stack.
