Pierre Poilievre has by far earned the right to remain leader.

No one in their right mind will argue that the Conservative's success is because of anyone but him.

The Liberals swept Ottawa, a town in love with the CBC and employed by the federal government. You can't get elected there talking about slashing the CBC, trimming the federal government, and reducing regulations--the lifeblood of the federal public service and the swaths of interconnected consultants.

To put this in context, it would be like a Republican presidential candidate, if they were not elected directly nationally, running in DC. It doesn't work.

You don't reform the swamp from the swamp.

Pierre should go to the safest Conservative riding in Canada and do what needs to be done. More populism. More freedom for Conservative MPs to speak. There's so much golden talent in the Conservative tent. They're a force for the party.
