The latest @halbvierUK has arrived and it’s a doozy, dedicated to football in Berlin.

I wrote about my favorite small club in the city, @SFCFInter. Besides great kits and a progressive ethos, the Unicorns are proof the heart of Berlin’s football scene is at the community level.

🦄 lost 1-3 to FC Brandenburg in the Tornado Sports Cup QF.

A tough first half saw us go 2-0. A renewed second half and a goal on ‘70 by @pspfrench saw a comeback on the cards before the oppo snatched a killer third on the break.

Defeat hurts, but we go on again on Saturday.

The Unicorns take on FC Brandenburg 03 for the first time ever in a massive quarter-final contest in the Tornado Sports Cup.

The boys are fired up for this one and it promises to be a special Sunday. 🦄 🔥 💥

An early goal from Canon led to an unfortunate loss at Kurt Ritter. Despite a strong team performance, some strong ball movement and good intensity, we lacked the firepower to find an equaliser. Well done boys! 🦄 🔥

This was a show of Freitzeitliga's fiery best - 2nd vs 6th - with the two teams going at it tit for tat before the ref said enough was enough and it was time for an early Frühling brewski.

28 Unicorns went to Czech for skiing, snowboarding, and the 2023 Flicky Flicky Championship.

Some days there's everything to play for at HT and then you find yourself 6-0 down with ten minutes to play. The Unicorns rallied late to salvage some pride but this was a morning to forget for SFC Inter.
