The Durable Solutions Project is funded by the European Union in Yemen, and implemented by a consortium led by ACTED alongside CARE, DRC, IRC and NRC.

Through this project, Search has trained 71 community leaders from both IDP and host communities to be #mediators of conflict.

In #Yemen, many of the 4 million #IDPs face challenges in their new community. We conducted Conflict Scans across Lahj to identify the main sources of tension among IDPs and host communities. The data will be used to resolve priority conflicts and build relations across divides.

Despite the strain #COVID19 put on conflict-affected communities, our new research reveals some positive trends for relations across social & conflict lines.

Horizontal cohesion even increased in some countries, though with important caveats.
