The Springfield Fire Department has been at a 2 Alarm Structure Fire since 3:28 this morning near English Ave and Lawrence Ave.
Lawrence Ave sill be closed for the next few hours.
The outdoor warning sirens will not be tested today due to the recent ice and snow. Ice build up could potentially damage them if they were to be activated.

Last week our Technical Rescue Team members on shift were deployed to the Sangamon River bank for a report of a female with a broken leg. The crews rescued the patient and she was transported to the hospital. Today, she sent food to different stations throughout Springfield.
