@EscAuthority@marcusleshock@cedarpoint He works for WGN TV, he gets media access no matter what his opinion is.
Also, I have ridden Superman: Escape from Krypton multiple times, and it rarely ever runs at the advertised 100mph.
@OneWheelPr0ds@coastercuzzies When did they ever have people just for accepting tickets at IB? It was always the person running the rides taking the tickets as they let you through the gates on the flat rides and when you were next to go on the coasters.
@coastercuzzies The park has struggled since they changed to pay one price and is usually empty anytime I go. They have also become pretty irrelevant in the Chicago area compared to the 90s when everyone knew IB. Ads and billboards were everywhere. Most people have forgotten about it now sadly
@coastercuzzies Ive always enjoyed Indiana Beach. I grew up going there and love the park. They need to go back to operating like the park did in the Spackman era, with admission being cheap and pay per ride or get a wristband. The park and rides were always crowded back then.
@AdzKerridge@ThrillRidezMG@IndianaBeach Maybe you need to delete your post, they unfortunately lost a staff member a few months back in a tragedy and Indiana Beach honored him yesterday with a bench dedication. I think it's kind of low of you to post this on their park update they got while they were there.
@SFGreat_America With Illinois now entering the Bridge Phase of COVID-19 restrictions, and the new CDC guidelines involving masks for fully vaccinated people. Many of our followers as asking how these new rules will affect their upcoming visits to the park. Especially about masks
Announced today .... @SFGreat_America is offering 50,000 free tickets to people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. They will also be offering vaccines at the park.
@YFCS_Pod It really depends on where you’re at- and if you want to travel. For me, growing up in the Southwest Suburbs, mom and pop shops around Midway Airport area were always the best.
