As a research administrator for Sustainable Futures Nigeria Network, Grace ensures effective fund usage, compliance with grant objectives, and clear communication of member responsibilities.
With extensive experience as a community facilitator and research project manager, she has led initiatives on inclusive decision-making and local development planning.
Sustainable Futures Global Member Dr Sharifa Abdulla has recently published a study highlighting innovative decolonising methodologies in health research. Dr Abdulla's study utilises indigenous folk media to explore and represent narratives of HIV and AIDS in rural Malawi.
By involving local communities as active participants, the research aims to create more inclusive and effective health communication strategies, demonstrating the power of culturally relevant arts-based approaches in addressing serious health issues.
