@JoelOsteen If you truly believe that God is always in control of your life, you won't be afraid of anything wrong that surrounds you right now, but you'll walk in faith and confidence that everything gonna be okay.
Instead of having a victim mentality, switch over to a victor mentality. That bad break is not how your story ends. That loss, the sickness, the injustice is not going to limit the rest of your life.

@krassenstein America was always meant to be a “melting pot.” Why on earth are we allowing ICE to tell us who gets to melt and who doesn’t? Send them packing.
BREAKING: ICE Officials appear to have been escorted from the Dodger Stadium grounds by the LAPD after trying to set up a staging ground there earlier in the day.

The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce that the Northwest District Traffic Enforcement Squad has been selected as the Unit of the Month for January 2025. This recognition highlights their exceptional efforts in addressing a growing concern in the residential area near Mater Lakes Academy, located at 17300 NW 87 Avenue, during the months of September through December 2024.
In response to an increase in traffic violations, including drivers unlawfully stopping, blocking, and picking up students in the roadway, the Traffic Enforcement Squad took immediate and effective action. These violations were not only illegal but also posed significant safety risks, particularly to the students attending Mater Lakes Academy. The Squad, working closely with the school administrators, developed a comprehensive plan to address the issue and ensure the safety of all involved.
From September 18 to October 24, 2024, the Squad patrolled the area surrounding the school, focusing on enforcement and educating drivers on the importance of adhering to traffic laws in school zones. During this time, they conducted 75 field interviews, issued 128 traffic citations, and contacted over 300 drivers, significantly improving the safety and flow of traffic in the area.
The Squad's coordinated efforts, teamwork, and strategic use of enforcement tactics exemplified their dedication to public service and community safety. Their actions not only helped reduce traffic violations but also made the school area safer for students, parents, and faculty alike. This proactive approach and commitment to improving the quality of life in the community truly deserves recognition.
The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office congratulates the Northwest District Traffic Enforcement Squad for their outstanding work and commitment to public service. Their efforts serve as a shining example of how law enforcement can work hand-in-hand with the community to ensure safety and well-being. Congratulations on a job well done!
