@LandonTengwall UT won the physicality (especially in 2nd half) but the shooting in foot - tale of two halfs. UT in 1st & OSU in 2nd (muffed punt miss recovery, fumble recovery miss, zero pass rush, Sayin airmailing wide open McCuin, underthrown ball to Smith, 3/4th and longs given up, etc)

I would have put them over Bama but in common sense world James Madison and Tulane weren’t better either (aware they were autobid).

@Menace2Sports I have not liked these 2 and 3 TE sets. OL is good enough with spacing to hold up. Spread out with the wr’s, run more tempo. Put the better athletes on the field at wr. Give the talent more opportunities over a game.

Also just bad design trying TE 1 on 1 with Simmons.

@JBook_37 I honestly dont mind trying to not let them score if you legitimately had faith in your defense. I’d be ok losing that way.

However my concern was how could you watch that defense who had to be gassed, continually get pushed around, zero pass rush - and think they’d get a stop?

@_Pat_Murphy Early I felt like there were a lot of late hooks that could have been called by a ticky tack crew but we’ve learned those calls dont come for this team.

That being said the pass rush was so anemic in second half they didn’t come close to earning a holding call. UT played well.
