Take the @opg Darlington Refurbishment as a case study:

✅Unit 1: five months ahead of schedule.
✅Unit 3: six months ahead of schedule.
✅Unit 4: four months ahead of schedule.
✅Overall refurbishment project $150 million under budget.

And @Bruce_Power’s Unit 6 was completed two months ahead of schedule, and Unit 3 is well on track to be completed on-time and on-budget.

Following a successful trade mission to Washington with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, it was great to welcome them to Queen’s Park, along with the @VaughanChamber.

Ontario is leading the way with a plan to start construction on the roads to the Ring of Fire this summer, all while we deliver North America’s largest nuclear expansion — creating 150,000 jobs.

Increasing housing supply requires all levels of government to take action to reduce the input costs.

In the Ministry of Energy and Mines, we solved a long-standing barrier that led to higher housing prices by reducing upfront grid connection costs.

After removing HST on new homes, our government took another step forward by unveiling the Development Charge Reduction Program — making housing more affordable across the board.

Our government is taking action to reduce building costs and speed up the construction of new homes through the Development Charge Reduction Program: a new, shared program with the federal government that will deliver $8.8 billion in funding towards housing-enabling infrastructure projects for municipalities that cut development charges by 30% or more.

Along with the HST relief announced in Ontario’s 2026 budget, this program will help make homes across the province more affordable.

Our government has transformed Ontario from the second slowest mine permitting jurisdiction in the OECD to one of the fastest in the G7.

@fordnation is delivering certainty needed to attract investment and open up to 41 new mines by 2033, with over 3,000 net-new jobs anticipated in Timmins alone.

While Ontario’s mining sector already employs more than 150,000 jobs, Ontario's plan is creating thousands of additional jobs for young people across the North.
