An unforgettable evening at the Moonlight Gala at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, surrounded by the beauty of art, culture, and community.
From the timeless works of the Group of Seven to the powerful storytelling and vision of leading Indigenous artists, the evening was a celebration of Canada’s rich artistic heritage under the stars.
Today, we celebrate Festa della Repubblica, Italian Republic Day, and recognize the rich history, culture, and contributions of Italians and Italian Canadians here in Ontario and across Canada. 🇮🇹
June 2 marks the birth of modern democratic Italy and stands as a symbol of resilience, unity, freedom, and pride.
As the proud son of Italian immigrants and the MPP for Vaughan—Woodbridge, I am grateful for the many contributions the Italian Canadian community continues to make to our province and country every day.
Buona Festa della Repubblica! Viva l’Italia! 🇮🇹
Our government is taking action to reduce building costs and speed up the construction of new homes through the Development Charge Reduction Program: a new, shared program with the federal government that will deliver $8.8 billion in funding towards housing-enabling infrastructure projects for municipalities that cut development charges by 30% or more.
Along with the HST relief announced in Ontario’s 2026 budget, this program will help make homes across the province more affordable.

Today, we celebrate Ontario Day, a time to recognize the strength, diversity, and spirit of our province and the people who call it home.
Ontario’s success is built on the hard work, determination, and resilience of generations of individuals and families from every background and community. From small towns to large cities, it is the people of this province who continue to move Ontario forward.
As we mark this day, let us take pride in all that we have achieved together and look ahead with optimism for what we can continue to build as one Ontario.
Proud to stand with the hardworking men and women of LiUNA Local 183. The builders who continue shaping our communities, strengthening Ontario’s economy, and driving progress across our province. 👷♂️🏗️
Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and commitment to building a stronger future for the next generation.
Great to visit Cataldi Fresh Market, a cornerstone of the Vaughan–Woodbridge and Italian-Canadian community.
For generations, Cataldi has represented hard work, family values, and a commitment to serving the community with excellence. Thank you for your continued contributions to our local economy and for bringing people together through food, culture, and community spirit.

Yesterday in the Legislature, I spoke about how our government is delivering on our plan to keep communities safe, hold dangerous offenders accountable, and strengthen our justice system.
As part of the Protecting Ontario's Streets and Safer Communities Act, we're building on the historic measures our government has already taken to build safer communities—the proposed new measures would, if passed, crack down on criminal activity in our transit systems, better protect victims of human trafficking, and increase efficiency across the justice system.
The proposed new measures complement our government’s plan to fix the broken bail system. Through the Keeping Criminals Behind Bars Act, we are also taking action to make bail more real and consequential for people accused of serious crimes. This means: tougher rules, stronger enforcement, tighter conditions.
We will continue taking action to deliver on our plan to #ProtectOntario.
It was a pleasure to attend the CMHA Lead the Way: Navigating Hope Gala and hear about the tremendous progress being made toward the opening of this critical mental health care centre operated by CMHA.
Congratulations to the entire CMHA team, former CEO Rebecca Sheilds, and all the partners and supporters helping turn this vision into a reality.
Mental health is health.
Honoured to deliver this year’s commencement address at Niagara University. Congratulations to all graduates, families, and faculty on this milestone.
I was also humbled to receive the St. Vincent de Paul Medal for Philanthropy, alongside friends Sam Ciccolini and Antonette Orlando receiving awards of distinction. Since 1856, Niagara University has helped shape future leaders.
Today, our government unveiled its framework for the first-ever Ontario Defence Industrial Strategy.
The proposed 10-year strategy could help create 43,000 good-paying jobs, while strengthening Ontario's role as a trusted defence supplier for Canada and our allies.

Great connecting with the Ontario Home Builders’ Association and industry leaders who continue to play an important role in building stronger communities across our province.
Thank you for the important conversations and for your continued commitment to building homes and opportunities for Ontarians.
I want to thank @C_Mulroney for her years of dedicated public service and leadership. Throughout her time in government, she approached every portfolio with professionalism, integrity, and a genuine commitment to making a difference. Her work across Transportation, the Attorney General’s office, Francophone Affairs, and Treasury Board leaves behind a lasting legacy that will continue to shape our province for years to come. Wishing Caroline and her family continued success and happiness as they begin this new chapter.
Wonderful spending time with the team at Magnotta Winery and celebrating another outstanding local business making a strong impact in our community. 🍷
Proud to support businesses that continue to create jobs, invest locally, and showcase the very best of #Vaughan-Woodbridge. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for everything you do to support Ontario’s economy and communities.
Also looking forward to joining the Walk & Run for Lyme Disease on May 31st to help raise awareness and support an important cause in our community.
Today, we introduced the Protecting Ontario’s Streets and Communities Act, 2026.
This builds on our government’s plan to #ProtectOntario by strengthening public safety, supporting victims, and giving law enforcement stronger tools to keep communities safe.

Today, the CN Tower will shine in orange in recognition of Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders Awareness Month.
For those living with EDS and HSD, the journey is often unseen, shaped by chronic pain, fatigue, and years of searching for answers.
This is more than lighting a landmark. It’s about honouring the people behind the diagnosis—their strength, resilience, and stories.
Awareness brings us closer to earlier diagnoses, better support, and real change.
This May, we recognize MedicAlert Month and celebrate 65 years of MedicAlert Foundation Canada supporting Canadians when it matters most.
More than a bracelet, MedicAlert is a trusted service that ensures critical health information is available in moments of emergency, helping connect individuals, caregivers, and first responders when every second counts.
A reminder of the importance of being prepared and making vital health information accessible before a crisis happens.
Congratulations to the Community Legal Clinic of York Region on the opening of its new location in Newmarket.
This new space will help strengthen access to legal support and services for individuals and families across York Region, ensuring more members of the community can access the help they need, closer to home.
We’re taking action to prevent illegal truck yards in Vaughan-Woodbridge. 🚚
Ontario will soon introduce amendments to the Planning Act that will give municipalities stronger enforcement tools to crack down on unlawful land uses for trucks, protecting our communities and preserving the farmland that is so important to our region.
