Every year of the PRC’s oppression is met with one more year of resistance — from Tibetans inside Tibet and in exile. We will continue to fight for freedom and independence for the Tibetan people and all those under PRC rule.

WATCH: Tibet activists projected the final words of Pawo Lobga Rangzen onto the walls of the United Nations Headquarters in New York—the very ground where he self-immolated just yesterday in protest of China’s occupation of Tibet.

[Students for a Free Tibet @SFTHQ]

Lobga dedicated his life to this struggle, the struggle for Tibetan freedom.

Let us honor him not just by remembering how he died, but by carrying forth the legacy of how he lived: with an unyielding commitment to the vision of a free Tibet.
