@jennykrakovsky Agreed. Video work and editing is a part of my day job, but working on a few AI gen films has been a massive accelerated learning trip. A lot of people don't realise thay prompt language incorporates film speak (especially Seedance). OTS, depth of field, 55mm camera feel, etc.
@SadlyItsBradley I still can't believe we're still talking about the Frame/Deckard, Valve Index 2, etc. etc. and nothing is out! It's almost an urban legend at this stage. I am assuming it really will appear one day in the real world right?
@pt5films AI films can start with a screenplay just like any film shot in the real. Claymation, animation, hand puppets, Pixar style, hand drawn animations, completely CGI, completely AI, half actors/half puppets, etc. It's all valid. It's all telling a story. There are many tools. 1 goal
@JSFILMZ0412 Exactly. I'm creating a short film based on a screenplay I've had for years. There was no chance I was ever getting 4 million in funding in the real world. AI levels the playing field for creators. A breath of fresh air compared to soulless Hollywood franchise garbage.
@SkarredGhost Is it just me? Audio only glasses with a camera seem pretty boring after using VR for all these years. Ear buds with cameras on your face. Wake me up when they come with a display...
@Shodah10@Play_for_dream Exactly. I keep seeing prototypes that shout "it's under 150gms!" and then they tll you the FOV is 75 degrees horizontal and it runs at 1080p. Pointless.
@CasandChary Still waiting for the Galaxy XR outside of the US or South Korea. I predict we'll see more teases about what they "may" release somewhere, sometime. Everyone waits for someone else to take it all mainstream, not realising they can do it themselves, if they believe...
@NathieVR Apple always generates news. If you're locked into their ecosystem, the marketing hype is a powerful drug (former addict here). Nothing else is ever as good: Apple Car, TV, glasses, home speaker, robot, etc. Real or imaginary, it matters not. And when they copy, they "invent!"
@Jennifergalatis@MacRumors Not hate. Just an article claiming Apple has stopped making them. Probably just true for this expensive version with the silly glass display front...
@SecrtAgntSquirl@VadimYuryev Yes. Exactly. Glasses won't provide a VR like experience until the tech improves. The majority have yet to even wear a VR headset. Those who have, experince cartoons running on mobile chips. The tech will improve and VR will grow. This is the beginning, not the end...
@VadimYuryev I don't think they'll give up that easily. So much investment ongoing and glasses are a completely different form factor with different use cases. I may be delusional, but I'm still hoping for a lighter, cheaper version. I wonder how much cost held it back? Certainly stopped me.
@JSFILMZ0412@Magnific_AI I was thinking that might be the one to try. I go for Topaz Video instead then. This AI video thing can get extremely expensive, extremely fast. Hoping one day it can be run local with the same quality on a reasonable PC...
