“Enjoy your sacred pilgrimage to the Temple of Childhood Merchandising.”
Honestly it's cheaper than buying a sportscar when suffering a midlife crisis.
#MASTERSOFTHEUNIVERSE LIVES ON!!!
Despite being a Box Office Flop I haven’t seen a film THIS universally loved across all social media platforms. 87% on Rotten Tomatoes 🍅, 7.1/10 on IMDB, Closing in on $90M Globally, The Marketing Department is posting more and more, Amazon Executives making statements being satisfied with the film and Director Travis Knight saying he has more ideas for sequels.
The future of the franchise will probably depend on Digital, Physical media and Streaming Numbers BUT it’s a big plus that Amazon is on the side of the film despite the loss at the Box Office. If the film can have a second or third lifespan with its upcoming releases then who knows what will happen.
If they can lower the budget and perhaps make the sequel a Prime Video exclusive the why not give it another shot with the reception it’s getting from fans right now.
Near perfect adaptation of the animated series and we finally have a HE-MAN ⚔️ & SKELETOR 💀 worthy to take the characters forward for more installments.
@BlazeBinges Nobody bothered to turn up for either of them.
Turns out people are tired of midlife crisis therapy sessions disguised as generic forgettable movies.
For those who plan to waste their votes for Reform and Restore.
Just ask yourself this.
Since Nigel Farage never turns up and serves the people of Clacton and parades himself to the highest bidder because doing his job bores him.
Are they really capable of taking their jobs far more seriously and fix anything better than Labour and Conservatives?
Say what you like THEY ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOBS and are actually trained to run the country.
Vote Restore get Labour.
You might feel like Restore are the most anti-establishment option, but you’re only helping the establishment if you vote for them.
I understand the outside instinct. But we need to win to save the UK. We can’t carry on being outsiders.
“For those mid 40 year olds seeing the Masters of the Universe movie. Honestly, I respect it. Some men buy sports cars during a midlife crisis. Others go back to Eternia. Cheaper, probably.”
When the British head of government is attacked by Russian funded and inspired social media activists, a responsible reaction is not to gloat or seek to score political points.
A patriotic response is to rally round and confront a common enemy and defend our shared values politically and culturally as a nation.
There are plenty times to manifest our differences. This is not one of them.
This movie was absolutely amazing and I saw it twice in theater.
I might actually go a third time just to enjoy it once more before it goes to streaming.
Wonderful messaging for boys and men who are tired of being insulted by Hollyweird narratives.
Japan's The Lost Decade damaged Japan badly.
What followed was grim in a very slow, suffocating way:
Deflation made people delay spending because things might be cheaper later.
Wages stagnated, especially for younger workers.
Lifetime employment weakened, creating anxiety around job security.
Banks and companies hid bad debts, making recovery sluggish.
Young people became more pessimistic, with more irregular work and less confidence about marriage, children, or owning property.
Politics looked ineffective, because no one seemed able to restore the old momentum.
Their low interest rates is not because their economy is strong.... it's because they've always been trying to make sure their economy doesn't explode again.
And will never see the likes of their economic boom after WW2 again.
(Because they became too fatally chummy with the dodgy banks and took too long to fix it)
Keep in mind this was the same Japan that suffered the Lost Decade and exploded their economy so hard it literally suffered endless deflation.... and a frozen economy.
Oh and ten years of older generations of Japanese blaming the young for having it so well orf.
Thatcher actually wouldn't stand Farage.
Because unlike him. She actually turns up for work and do her job.
Also she had this thing called STRONG LEADERSHIP AND DISCIPLINE.
She would've called him a vulgar cheap circus act that can be easily exploited as her personal tool and then discard him when he outlived his usefulness.
Thatcher would seen Farage as a failure of Toryism, diagnose the weakness that allowed him to exist and beat them till they became more disciplined and beat him.
Also Thatcher actually had intelligence.
Margaret Thatcher "would have hated" Nigel Farage, says Lord Heseltine, as he talks about regenerating Britain’s cities and the devolution agenda 🌇
