@karagoucher Triamcinolone is used to treat eczema, arthritis and asthma, with some brands available OTC. WADA banned it in 2014 but allowed Therapeutic Use Exemption to asthma & allergies until 2022, as athletes lose weight but not power.
Drugs - and violations - are not all the same.
@MartinAroztegui@ChrisChavez Most people identifying as non-binary were born assigned female. Many assigned male at birth would select this category, but for conformist pressure & groupthink from you and your Gen Z god.
@DLoesch@ElizabethM68525@StephenKing Thanks for speaking up Elizabeth. The difference Dana is that Charlie would not have apologized for a factual mistake like this.
@souperfan2012@krassenstein If you owe money on a mortgage or credit card, like most people do, then low inflation plus high interest rates are terrible.
@skgreennz@jgault13 Holloway is 27.
He *is* the younger generation.
They’re kinder, more generous, and better at centering others than the older generation today. We can learn loads from them.
@jgault13 In a more rational and less chauvinist world, we would expect the “cheers and jeers” ratio to be very similar to that accorded Paula Radcliffe. Her run was just as impressive a breakthrough as Ruth Chepngetich’s.
As your writer accurately noted, Ruth Chepngetich’s breakthrough is very similar to Paula Radcliffe’s record in 2003. Western fans celebrated the latter run without reservation. 🤔
If only yours & others’ headlines were as nuanced, and less sensationalist & chauvinist.
Ruth Chepngetich’s 2:09:56 world marathon record tests the belief of fans.
Like her victory at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, she defied the laws of nature.

@stevemagness Since you cite the 1500m in your thread, you must notice Kipyegon is just slightly faster than Dibaba and Hassan, and her new record is (somewhat less) astonishing (since the mile is rarely raced at that level).
And then you’d have fewer grounds for your baseless allegations.
@schmangee@CoachBalto 3) Seattle is down 7% (less than half of PDX decline).
I also take issue with assuming that motivations are always legit. The original great decline in cities - “white flight” - was rooted in racial fears & ignorance. Should pols have catered even more to their demands? 🤔

@schmangee@CoachBalto 1) Private school enrollment also declined. Here’s my parent anecdote: we applied to 2 preschools & got in the first only due to declining numbers, while the second was short a quarter of former enrollment.
2) Eugene enrollment is up from 2021.
1.5/2
@CoachBalto@schmangee Decline in residents with school-aged kids is largely to blame. There were “30% fewer births to Portland residents in 2021 compared with the 2008 peak”, so the pool of grade school kids is much smaller now.
It’s NOT primarily tied to COVID, as rising enrollment in Eugene shows.
