En Conferencia de Prensa, informé que #Cuba ha decidido solicitar una sesión de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas bajo el tema 38 de la agenda, titulado “Necesidad de poner fin al bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero impuesto por los Estados Unidos de América contra Cuba”.

Tendrá lugar el próximo 7 de julio, donde junto al resto de los Estados Miembros, denunciaremos las acciones agresivas del gobierno de #EEUU contra nuestro país, que incluyen la amenaza y posibilidad real de agresión militar, el cerco energético y otras medidas de recrudecimiento extremo del bloqueo, que constituyen un acto de genocidio, de castigo colectivo, una violación flagrante y sistemática de los derechos humanos de los cubanos y del Derecho Internacional Humanitario, y provocan daños, privaciones y sufrimientos crecientes a nuestro pueblo.

Cuba no es una amenaza. El bloqueo sí.

لماذا يلتزمون الصمت إزاء الترسانة الإسرائيلية النووية، التي تقع خارج نطاق أي رقابة دولية، بينما تُصوَّر القدرات الدفاعية التقليدية لدولةٍ تعرضت مراراً للتهديدات والهجمات من دول الجوار على أنها "تهديد"؟

ينبغي أن يكون واضحاً للجميع أن القدرات العسكرية الإيرانية تكفل للشعب الإيراني حقه الأصيل في الدفاع المشروع عن النفس في مواجهة العدوان والجرائم، وتضمن في الوقت ذاته السلام والاستقرار في المنطقة.

إنّ أمن إيران القومي وكرامتها أمران لا يقبلان المساومة أو الاشتراط؛ فكما أنّ الحق الأصيل في الدفاع المشروع ليس محلاً للنقاش، فإنّ وسائل هذا الدفاع لا يمكن أن تكون موضع مساومة أو تنازل مع أي طرف.
