@SgsYear2 were thrilled to use their money skills this morning to buy themselves a snack from the local shop. They were tasked with choosing an item they could afford, counting the coins they would need and the change they would receive. Super work Year 2! #SGSDifference

@SGSYear2 had an amazing time at their ‘literature and the outdoors’ discovery day last week! We focused on garden birds and learnt all about their feathers and bones from a special guest, before writing about our favourite bird and heading to the forest to find them! #SGSPrep

Super Scientists! @SGSYear2 have been learning all about materials in science. To conclude the topic Year 2 was tasked with making boats with recycled materials from home. The children designed, tested, modified and retested their boats on the school lake! Success was had by all!

KS1 are immersing themselves in their new topic of China. A Year 2 pupil very kindly brought in lots of Chinese artefacts to learn about, which has been very exciting! Everyone is eagerly awaiting the Chinese food tasting lesson coming up this week.
